Lifetime seems to be putting out a few horror movies lately. First there is “Lizzie Borden took an ax” starring Christina Ricci, now they’re trying their hand at a remake of Flowers In The Attic. While the story may not be horror in the traditional sense, it is certainly psychologically disturbing.  Flowers In The Attic tells the story of a family whose patriarch dies in a car accident. Destitute and with nowhere else to go, the mother decides it is time to patch things up with her estranged, extremely religious mother. The four children suffer tremendous mental abuse, the least of which being locked in the grandmother’s attic. The teaser trailer can be found below.
