We may be looking at the final season of American Horror Story from FX but even if this is the farewell story the series gets with Freak Show, it’s looking like we are in for one heck of a great season.
According to Entertainment Weekly, American Horror Story: Freak Show will have an October 8th premiere date.
Big FX’s American Horror Story: Freak Show news. The fourth installment of horror anthology series suddenly has a premiere date, an official new description, and its first genuine teaser video.
First the date: AHS:FS will debut Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 10 p.m.
But the big information to take away from this news by FX is not the premiere date — which we already sort of knew — it’s the description of the new plot for the new season.
“Freak Show begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Florida. The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience.”
Most of the cast from Coven will be back which means if this is indeed the final season of the show, then we will for sure be in for one great story to end things with.
