Heather Langenkamp narrates short horror film Road Trash

A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise star Heather Langenkamp is providing the narration for Natasha Pascetta’s upcoming horror short Road Trash.

If you enjoy a good horror short, this one looks pretty promising!

From producer Natasha Pascetta and musician James Malone, Road Trash is a new short horror film which looks to be as creepy as it is gross. Alex, the lead character in the film, isn’t like most girls — she apparently has a penchant for giving dead animals from the road a proper burial! And unfortunately for her, all hell breaks loose when Alex accidentally buries a freakin’ werewolf…

Though the film looks rather unique, what drew my attention to it is the name attached as its narrator. The lovely Heather Langenkamp, one of the greatest scream queens in horror history, provides voiceover work for the short. It’s rather appropriate, considering Langenkamp has done very well with narration before (including the A Nightmare on Elm Street doc Never Sleep Again). Even in voice only, her involvement in any movie is always a treat for the horror fans watching. I just can’t get enough Langenkamp!

The official teaser trailer for Road Trash can be viewed below.

Synopsis from the official website:

Road Trash is a short horror film about good intentions gone wrong. Alice can’t help but bury every dead animal she comes across. One day, she buries something she never should have touched and pays for her kind act dearly.

Road Trash is not yet available to stream online. The short film will be doing the rounds in the film festival circuit this year, so you may get a chance to watch it in a theater close to you.
