Stephen King: Creepshow Creepin’ to deluxe Collector’s Edition Blu-ray

Thirty six years since the Stephen King/George Romero classic, Creepshow’s still arguably the best anthology. Now it’s getting the treatment it deserves.

Creepshow is creepin’ on ah come up…..

After announcing a slew of stellar titles for the fall, Scream Factory is truly outdoing themselves. Coming Oct. 23, the popular label is bringing the George Romero/Stephen King classic, Creepshow, to Blu-ray in a deluxe Collector’s Edition.

Featuring a special rigid slipcover, much like the Nightbreed release, the set’s also coming with a 40-page booklet featuring a new essay from Michael Gingold. Expect a new transfer and a berth of special features, as Scream Factory is pulling out all the stops for the iconic title.

Tell me this isn’t one of the best looking Blu-ray sets you’ve ever seen…..

Creepshow joins Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation, Trick ‘r Treat, House on Haunted Hill ’99 the Rec series and two Halloween steelbooks coming from the label this fall. In one of the best pushes yet, the Romero classic looks to be the top presentation of all.

Like always, getting the set from Scream Factory will get it to your door two weeks earlier than those waiting for Amazon and Best Buy. You’ll also get a rolled 28.5” x 16.5” lithograph poster (slipcover art, limited to 2,000 units) and a 18” x 24” poster of alternative art illustration. So it’s really a no brainer ordering from the official site.
