The epic battle between Jason Voorhees and Freddy Krueger would finally happen in 2003. Of course, it seems like a no-brainer when it comes to designing the poster. Pitting Freddy and Jason staring at each other, complete with Freddy’s blades and Jason’s machete, it’s simple yet awesome.
As you could expect, it was like a dream at the time to see this poster hanging up in theaters. Many slasher movie fans had given up on ever seeing the battle actually happen. Something about seeing Freddy and Jason on the same movie poster was truly special. There are other ways they could have gone with the poster, but a classic staredown between the two icons is certainly awesome enough.
