Immortal: How does life change if you can’t die?
Immortal is a frightening anthology film featuring four different chilling stories about people who have faced death head on but cannot die.
Immortal is a new horror anthology written and directed by Rob Margolies. The film is comprised of four different stories each featuring characters that have faced death but have emerged unscathed. They can’t die.
What happens when you are doomed to walk the earth for all eternity losing your family members, your significant others and your friends? Things change.
Pain becomes irrelevant. You can’t feel anything. There is also the unnerving fact that you can’t eat or sleep. That is bound to make a person a tad edgy.
Of course, since you know that you will never be hurt and also that death will never be knocking on your door, you might even take risks. Getting hit by a car is nothing. Just get up, shake it off and fix your broken leg like nothing ever happened.
You could get abducted by a crazy person who has implements of torture but that won’t work on you. So, you escape.
What happens when your beloved spouse receives a terminal diagnosis and instead of watching her linger in pain, you offer to put an end to her misery. How could you live with yourself?
If you are adventurous, you could take up a life of crime. Especially, if money is tight and you have a baby on the way.
All of these scenarios are explored in Stonecutter/DifferentDuckFilms’, Immortal. The cast boasts several horror genre veterans like Tony Todd, Mario Van Peebles (Z Nation), Dylan Baker (Trick ‘r Treat), Samm Levine (Inglourious Basterds) and Agnes Bruckner (The Woods).
Immortal is available ON DEMAND in the U.S. and Canada on Sept. 1.
