New horror shows: The Sandman

Three decades after the first attempts to adapt Neil Gaiman’s much-loved comic book series one has finally got out of “development hell” to make it to our screens. The Sandman will tell the story of Morpheus, the King of Dreams, who has been held hostage for 105 years. After finally escaping, Morpheus attempts to restore his Kingdom of Dreaming.

The Sandman will release on Netflix in 2022. A specific date is yet to be announced.

Returning horror shows: Two Sentence Horror Stories

The CW anthology series will return for a third season. Like the two seasons before it, each episode will have its own self-contained story and characters. Each episode will also feature a different cast.

Season three of Two Sentence Horror Stories will begin airing on the CW on January 16th.

New horror shows: Wednesday

Tim Burton’s new horror-comedy will be a re-imagining of the classic Addams Family characters. The story will focus primarily on Wednesday Addams (Jenny Ortega) as she attempts to master her psychic powers and stop a killing spree. All while attending high school, and the difficulties that come with it.

Wednesday will consist of eight episodes and is set to release on Netflix in 2022.
