The second show hitting the road this month is An Evening with Joe Bob Briggs: How Rednecks Saved Hollywood. During this fast-paced two hour talk, Joe Bob utilizes hundreds of film clips and still shots to cover the role rednecks have played in films of all types and genres over the years. Again, fans will have the opportunity to meet Joe Bob, purchase merchandise, sign autographs and take photos before and after the show. *On a personal note, I was able to attend this show a couple of years ago at Enzian Theater in Florida, and I highly recommend seeing it. It was high energy and hysterical, and Joe Bob was extremely entertaining.

You can catch An Evening with Joe Bob Briggs: How Rednecks Saved Hollywood at the following locations:

  • The Clayton Center, 111 E 2nd Street in Clayton, North Carolina on April 22
  • The Colonial Theatre, 3522 Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento, California on April 29

Oklahoma City residents have the opportunity to attend Joe Bob Presents 21st Century Cult Classic Night, which will include a double feature of Bubba Ho-Tep and Donnie Darko. Joe Bob hand-picked these two cult classics from American Genre Film Archive, and just like the other two shows, you can meet him, get an autograph and/or photo and purchase exclusive merchandise.

Joe Bob Presents 21st Century Cult Classic Night will be performed at Rodeo Arthouse Cinema, 2221 Exchange Avenue in Oklahoma City on March 25. This event is sold out.

As you can see from the above list, shows are already starting to sell out, so get your tickets now. Here’s a little tip for you as well: Although none of the info I received indicates that Darcy will be there, she was present when I attended How Rednecks Saved Hollywood (despite it not being advertised). So, there is a good chance you might be able to see her too.
