When it comes to movie remakes, this one is rather interesting. The maker of the original movie, Eli Roth, worked on the screenplay for this, making it more authentic. And to be fair, it’s very close in line to the first movie, to the point of almost being identical.

It’s interesting to watch this film if you’ve seen Roth’s original. It’s a fun way to see how another director would take on the exact same story with subtle differences. And for anyone who hasn’t seen the first movie, it’s fun to jump into the story and perhaps check out the original one later.
