Pennywise (Stephen King’s It)

There has never been a killer clown more frightening than Pennywise.  Adapted as a TV movie from Stephen King’s novel, the story of Pennywise the Clown has been the source of many nightmares for decades now, no doubt due to Tim Curry’s amazing performance.

While other evil movie clowns are very easy to spot, what made Pennywise so scary was how friendly he appeared at first, even while hanging out under sewer gratings.  When he bared those fangs, though, viewers wound up being scarred for life.
