Don’t let the final three films fool you; Chucky was once a downright horrifying character.  Way back in 1984’s Child’s Play, years before he became more of a comedian, the cursed Good Guy doll made many children deeply regret sneaking a viewing of the film on VHS.

He was evil in every sense of the word, and for Andy, the child Chucky was attempting to kill, it was all the more frightening and frustrating because there was nobody who believed him.
