Creepy Countdown: William’s Top Ten Favorite Horror movies

1. Scream (1996) Directed by Wes Craven

I know, I know. This is a movie either you love or you hate. It will always be special to me, as it was the first horror movie I ever watched. A little back story, I was a wuss as a child. I was always made fun of because I didn’t watch horror movies. I wouldn’t even go into a video store if there was a horror movie poster up. When I turned 11 I decided enough was enough, and put this movie in the VCR, the rest is history.

One year ago, Sidney Prescott’s mother was murdered. One year later murders are happening again. This movie is different as a big star is killed off in the first ten minutes. The story is very realistic, and could actually happen. I find that much scarier than supernatural killers, ghosts, or zombies.

There you have it my Creepy Countdown: Top ten favorite horror movies. As you can tell by the list I am a big fan of Wes Craven.
