3. Halloween (1978) Directed by John Carpenter
“The Boogeyman is coming!”
Michael Myers was Six years old when he inexplicably killed his sister Judith on Halloween night in 1963. He spends fifteen years in a mental institution under the care of Dr. Sam Loomis, until he escapes, by stealing a car. To this day I still don’t know how he learned to drive. I don’t really need to say much about this one do I? It’s a classic all around, not to mention the director John Carpenter is from my home state of Kentucky. If you didn’t already know, the now famous mask was originally just a William Shatner mask painted white.
