Bitten Goes To The Witches

If you missed episode 2 of Bitten you didn’t miss much. Mainly the only thing exciting that happened was a little more witch action and Malcolm escapes his prison in the packs home.

Episode 3 recap

Episode 3, however, stepped things up a bit more. The pack searches for the witches and Malcolm. A lot of the episode focused on the witches, mainly the youngest witch, Savannah Levine. Savannah is in Paige Winterbourne’s care, another witch, when another supernatural being name Aleister shows up and takes her.

Paige and her mother Ruth hope to swap Malcolm for Savannah, but the pack has other ideas.

It appears that Aleister is after a strong candidate from each group of supernatural being and he thinks that Malcolm Danvers is the strongest, until he watches Elena kill Malcolm.

*spoiler alert*

Aleister takes Elena instead.

As a fan of the books…

I am a fan of the Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong, on which this TV series is based. I was impressed with the first season of the show, although it strayed from the books a bit. It stayed close enough to keep me wondering what they’d do next. This season, however, has broken away from the books quite a bit. I know that all book adaptations stray, but I really wish the whole kidnapping thing and introduction of the witches would have followed the book more, where it seemed to make more sense.

I am still looking forward to see how they move forward with the story… how about you?
