Looking forward to seeing lunatics dressed as clowns kill people? Here are the characters we know so far!
October may still be a little ways off, but it’s always Halloween in my mind! After all, Halloween is the greatest time of the year to be a horror fan, and this Halloween could be one to remember, if Rob Zombie’s 31 lives up to the hype.
For those of you who don’t know (which is probably none of you, but still!), here is the plot synopsis for Rob Zombie’s 31:
"Five people are kidnapped on the days leading up to Halloween and held hostage in a place called Murder World. While trapped, they must play a violent game called 31 where the mission is to survive 12 hours against a gang of evil clowns."
The story takes place in 1975, which should allow Zombie to give the movie a gritty, grindhouse-esque feel.
We know the game 31 takes place in a place called Murder World, which is run by Father Murder, who will be played by the esteemed Malcom McDowell himself:

Helping Father Murder is Sister Dragon, played by Judy Geeson:

Since the official website for 31 lists Sister Dragon as one third of the team running Murder World, I can only assume that the character Sister Serpent rounds out the trio:

Part of the evil gang of killers is a pair of murderous, psychotic brothers named Schizo-Head and Psycho-Head:

There’s also a killer known as Doom-Head, supposedly the most deadly man on the planet, and his main squeeze, Cherry Bomb:

Man – what a cast, and I have not even gotten to the “good guys” yet. This sure sounds like it will be a bloody, gory, wild ride – let’s hope it is more The Devil’s Rejects than Halloween 2, eh?
