1428 Elm: The Movies That Introduced Us to Horror

Everybody who is a fan of the horror genre had to have started out at some point. Readers may have started out with an Edgar Allan Poe novel. Movie goers may have started out with a Wes Craven flick (may he forever haunt our nightmares). The point is, we’ve all had some sort of introduction to the horror genre which led to our falling in love with the topic.

We here at 1428Elm.com have decided to put together a list of films that brought us into the realm of the dark, morbid, and macabre. The following is our recollection of the scares that reached out with dark, oily tentacles and dragged us screaming into the abyss.
