My first Wes Craven movie was 1972’s

Last House on the Left

. I love movies where revenge is the basis, and I guess in some way the movie resonates with me now that I’m a parent. But I loved how visceral the movie was and was insulted by the remake. The original laid the foundation for the rest of his film career, in my opinion.
