Fall Horror TV Preview 2015

Where: NBC
What is it?: A monster of the week procedural that doesn’t really have anything to do with Grimm’s fairy tales, Grimm stars David Giuntoli as homicide investigator Nick Burkhardt who learns that he is descended from a line of guardians known as Grimms. The Grimms mission is to maintain the balance between humanity and the mythological creatures called Wesen, the German word for being or creature. Throughout the series, Nick faces up against an assortment of dangerous (and often ridiculous looking) creatures, with help from a motley assortment of friends including reformed Wesen, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), and his partner, Detective Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby).
Are we excited?: We’re not sure who actually watches Grimm, but like all genre shows it has a devoted audience. We have nothing else to say.
