What is it?: Produced by the Asylum, Z Nation is, let’s be honest, a cash in on The Walking Dead’s popularity. Three years after the zombie apocalypse, a group of survivors have to try and make it cross country to a military lab with a man carrying the antibodies that may save the human race. Starring no one you know and with a budget smaller than Ryan Murphy’s craft service, the show excelled early on when it didn’t take itself seriously but slowly found itself mired in the same squalor as that other zombie show.
Are we excited?: We’re eager to see if the show can get back to the campy fun it started with. Less creepy DJ Qualls, more awesome zombie squashing please!
