Fall Horror TV Preview 2015

What is it?: The 10-ton gorilla of horror television, The Walking Dead is the most watched cable show going today. Based off the graphic novels of the same name, it follows a group of American survivors several years after the rising of the dead. As the daily cost of living takes its toll on the survivors, their internal conflicts and other groups of survivors leave a pall of menace over even the simplest interactions. Many people die, some people live so that they can die later.
Are we excited?
: Yes, because the last season was the best of the show’s run. After burning through cast members and show runners at a rigor mortis-like pace in the first 4 seasons of the show,
The Walking Dead
became more than a series of gruesome set-pieces with a greater emphasis on the characters. We like to know whose face is being ripped off.
