‘Friday The 13th’: Ranking The Classic Series “Final Girls”

Coming it at number nine is none other than Chris, from Steven Miner’s Friday the 13th Part III (1982). Played by Dana Kimmell, in yet another thinly laid “Final Girl” Friday plot, Chris is also victim of her surroundings. While she puts up a great fight against Jason (played by Richard Brooker in an underrated Jason performance), she spends most of the film’s running time being repressed about her long-ago encounter with the masked Crystal Lake creature. Being a true “Final Girl” is about female empowerment, and sadly, Chris doesn’t have much of it.
