The Walking Dead: 5 Actors Who Could’ve Played Rick Grimes

Andrew Lincoln has blown me away with how well he has performed as Rick Grimes on AMC’s flagship show, The Walking Dead. While some of the decisions made in the writers’ room have not always benefited the character, I’ve never had any problem with Lincoln’s performance. From the clean cut, babyfaced good guy in the pilot to the scruffy sociopath he has become, I give all the credit in the world to the actor for pulling off such a difficult part.

With that being said, I can’t help but wonder what The Walking Dead would be like if another actor had been cast in the lead role. With curiosity striking, I scoured the internet for past news and rumors on the casting of the part, and came across a few names that very well could have been our Rick Grimes. Here are 5 of them.
