Scream Factory’s ‘Return of the Living Dead’ Blu Set To Eat Your Brains

Scream Factory will release a collector’s edition of Dan O’Bannon’s Return of the Living Dead packed with special features on July 19th.

It’s time to cover those heads (and brains) but open those wallets!

According to DVD Active, Scream Factory, one of the finest home-video genre labels around, is set to being us one of the best horror comedies in cinema history: 1985’s Return of the Living Dead. Poised to be one of the company’s collector’s editions, where a slipcover is a guarantee(slips are a must for this writer) the set will be packed to the dead skin with amazing special features.

I don’t know about the other Soldiers of Springwood, but this set is a must-own for me. From “The Year Of The Zombie”, Return of the Living Dead is a classic that needs no introduction. Without a doubt one of the most fun and unique film ever made, Return of the Living Dead truly deserves this treatment and honestly, I’m happier than Leatherface with a newly-sharpened chainsaw. The film stars Clu Gulager, Thom Mathews, and Don Calfa.
