Every ‘Friday the 13th’ Film, Ranked

Today is Friday the 13th, and to celebrate the big day, we’re going to rank all of the films in the Friday the 13th franchise from worst to first.
Friday the 13th Part II – Paramount
If you’re a horror fan, you certainly have got to love Jason Voorhees. Over the course of 12 feature length films, Jason (and his mother, briefly) were responsible for terrifying scary movie lovers for decades. With his large machete and trademark hockey mask, there are fewer pop culture icons that are more recognizable than the Camp Crystal Lake serial killer.
We’ve seen the films in the Friday the 13th series go in several different directions, such as taking Jason to places like New York City and outer space. We’ve also seen an official ‘reboot’ film hit theaters. The point is, many of the sequels in the film series have been different enough that each of them have seen their share of fans and detractors. Chances are, many of us could come up with completely different orders for ranking these films, so we encourage you to weigh in on the comments to let us know how you’d rank the films.
