Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday

Well, here’s another movie in the Friday the 13th series that was intended to the the last ever in the series, with Jason truly “dying” once and for all and taken to the depths of Hell where he belongs. And guess who brings him there? None other than man of our dreams himself, Freddy Krueger, whose glove makes a cameo appearance pulling Jason’s mask down into the ground. As Freddy vs. Jason wouldn’t actually see the light of day for another decade, that moment was something many horror fans obsessed over for years.

Unfortunately, despite the awesome nod to Freddy, Jason Goes to Hell isn’t one of the stronger movies in the Friday the 13th film series. In a way to make Jason keep killing despite having his body blown to smithereens, the undead, masked zombie transfers his evil soul into a mortician— who ends up transferring that evil into another person, and so on, letting Jason continue his killing spree with the hands of other people.

While some of the deaths are pretty vicious, most fans still would have rather seen the rotting creep in the hockey mask instead of a bloody, pissed-off looking bloody guy in a business suit.
