3. Chris channels Shane and threatens Alicia
Apparently, Fear the Walking Dead realized they didn’t really have a Shane yet on the show, so they picked Chris to fill that void by revealing him to be an apparent sociopath.
When the zombie churchgoers attacked the group upon their arrival, Madison was pounced on by one of them directly in front of Chris. Rather than help her, Chris stood there and watched as if he were in front of a television. The only thing he was missing was popcorn.
Alicia saw Chris’s lack of taking action, and confronted him about it when the two were alone. That’s when Chris reacted like a maniac and grabbed Alicia by the arms, demanding she not tell anyone else about what she saw. Chris only made a vague statement about hurting people when asked what would happen should she tell.
I don’t know about you, but I was having Shane and Lori flashbacks during this moment. The big problem here is that Chris seems to be much less composed than Shane, so he’ll likely spiral out of control much more quickly. What the hell was he thinking when he grabbed her and threatened her like that?
