1. Killer Klowns From Outer Space

Killer Klowns From Outer Space is certainly a one of a kind film. The nonsensical storyline saw a spaceship shaped like a circus tent landing in the woods outside of a small town. Inside were murderous, blood-drinking, “killer klowns” who’d kill people by turning them into cotton candy. But despite how ridiculous that sounds, it was incredibly entertaining.

This indie movie was brought to life by the Chiodo Brothers, who years ago showed interest in developing a new sequel to the series. The plan was to release it sometime in 2012. Since then, their official Killer Klowns from Outer Space website has gone down, and no updates on the project have emerged.

However, in March of 2016, a TV series based on the film was rumored to be in the works— but there have been no updates on this since then either. The Chiodo Brothers clearly have the desire to bring the Killer Klowns back to either the big or small screen, so a lack of interest from studios has to be what’s holding it up.
