Remember when we were kids, and there seemed to be so much more Halloween TV specials? 1428 Elm remembers.

Halloween means a lot of things. Not the least of which is Halloween TV specials.Every year when it gets close to Halloween, everyone is all ready to watch It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, or the annual “Treehouse Of Horror” episode of The Simpsons. There’s also The Family Channel’s (now Freeform) 13 Nights Of Halloween.

The schedule for Freeform’s 13 Nights of Halloween has been released. There are some okay movies to be shown this year. Although the problem is the 13 Nights Of Halloween seems to just show the same handful of movies over and over for the nearly 3 week time period. Not to mention some choices just don’t make sense. What does The Hunger Games have to do with Halloween?

However, those of us who grew up in the 80s and 90s will remember some other Halloween TV specials. These specials seem to be all but forgotten for this generation. Don’t worry residents of Elm Street. We have you covered. Just step into 1428 Elm’s time machine and enjoy the trip down memory lane.
