4. Rosita finds her own gun and secretly keeps it
During her scavenging mission with Spencer, Rosita would find a handgun. It’s empty, of course, but if she could find some bullets next, it could be useful. She takes the gun and dispatches all of the walkers in the area. Rosita clearly has vengeance in her mind after the death of Abraham, even if Spencer keeps suggesting they just have to follow Negan now.
Back in Alexandria, all of the guns have been taken away. Negan did what millions of people were afraid Hillary Clinton would do. But with Rosita’s new find, there’s another gun in town that the big boss doesn’t know about. She could go along with Rick and the others, offering up the gun as a token of their offering. But that’s not exactly what happens.
Out of sight of everyone else, Rosita pockets the weapon. She has clearly brought it back to the Alexandria Safe Zone, and she is going to keep it. For now, it’s just going to have to be her little secret, as it’s hard to trust anyone else. But this just goes to show that not every character on the show is willing to throw up a white flag just yet.
But there’s at least one other person who knows about the plan— Eugene. Before the episode would close, Rosita would ask Eugene to make a bullet for her using an empty casing. She’s gonna bring the fight back, one bullet at a time.
