7. It could bring more quality horror movie adaptations

So maybe I’m thinking too far ahead already. But I’m already loving everything I’ve absorbed so far from Friday the 13th: The Game. It’s basically the video game I’ve been waiting all my life for. It’s proving that quality horror movie games can be made if the developers understand the source material.

If this game is very successful, it could be opening the doors to so much more. As much as I’m going to enjoy my time at camp, I can’t help but think about the other possibilities. Could we see just-as-awesome adaptations of some of my other favorite horror franchises?

I think Gun in particular could do wonders tackling some other horror series as well. This includes The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and A Nightmare on Elm Street. I know, I know, first things first— let’s take some time to enjoy Friday the 13th. I’m just saying that its success could mean an even brighter future for gaming horror fans.
