6. Tom Savini is heavily involved with the game
Every big horror fan knows about the legendary Tom Savini. An award winning make-up FX artist, Savini has lent his talents to many cult classic films. This includes everything from George A. Romero’s Dawn of the Dead to Tobe Hooper’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. But Jason fans will appreciate him best for his work on the original Friday the 13th and Friday the 13th Part 4: The Final Chapter.
Considering Savini was the one who literally brought Jason to life, he certainly understands the character. That’s why it’s such great news he’s so involved with this game. He has an executive producer credit, but he’s also heading the cinematography. All of the kills featured were devised by Savini, with him ensuring that they all look right.
On top of that, Savini has also created an original design for a playable Jason, which is avialable as a DLC. This is a never before seen version of the character from his teenage years. He comes complete with dozens of his own unique kills, which, knowing Savini, are guaranteed to be horrific.
