5. Kane Hodder reprises the role of Jason for this game
Many different people have played Jason Voorhees throughout the film series. But none are as well known as Kane Hodder. Beginning with Part 7, Hodder would play the iconic slasher for four straight movies. He was finally replaced beginning with Freddy vs. Jason, which was very disappointing for many longtime fans of the series. To many, Hodder is Jason.
Fortunately, Friday the 13th: The Game gives Hodder a chance to step into Jason’s boots again. Hodder did all of the motion capture work for Jason Voorhees in the game. So his movements and mannerisms will all be how fan favorite Kane Hodder does them. There probably couldn’t be a better way to make Jason as authentic as possible.
Kane Hodder might not be Jason Voorhees on the big screen anymore. But the odds are he will always be the most well known Jason actor. His involvement here truly adds that much more to the game.
