18. No two matches are the same

This game probably wouldn’t be very fun if you could win the exact same way each time. That certainly isn’t good at all for replayability, if you ask me. After just a couple of matches, players would start getting bored. You can’t have the ability to adopt one basic, easy to remember strategy and repeat it over and over. That sucks for not just you, but the other players as well.

Well, that’s not going to happen with Friday the 13th: The Game. No two matches will ever be exactly the same. Depending on how the other players, including Jason, are playing the game, the order of events will always be different. You’ll never know exactly when Jason is going to strike next, or how your fellow counselors will behave.

Adding to that is the randomized locations. Certain objects you may need will show up in completely different places. A phone you can use to call for help won’t always be in the same location. The weapons you find throughout the map will always be spawning in different spots. This encourages players to explore to find a way to survive, all the while actively avoiding Jason Voorhees.
