14. You can play as six different Jasons from the movies
I am sure that this is a question many people are wondering about this game. It’s apparent to most that you can play as more than one particular version of Jason. But, how many, exactly? Is there just a couple? Are you merely switching between ‘human’ Jason from the early films, or ‘zombie’ Jason from the later ones? I’ve got an official answer for you.
You can play as seven different Jasons as seen in the movies. This ranges from Jason Voorhees from parts 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, and 9. That’s six versions of Jason for players to choose from. It’s certainly an excellent way of pleasing the fans of the films, depending on which version they prefer. Unfortunately, Freddy vs. Jason and the remake’s Jason aren’t included due to licensing issues. But all of the classic versions of the iconic slasher are there.
If you love the classic Jason with the burlap sack from part 2, you can play as him. How about when he first puts on the hockey mask in part 3? That Jason is good to go! But if you prefer the undead zombie seen in part 6 and beyond, that won’t be a problem. Just tap into one of those later Jasons to use, instead.
As with the counselors, the different Jasons will have their own features.
