12. It’s just as great to get away from Jason

Scaring people as Jason Voorhees is undoubtedly tons of fun. I can say that it was so much more entertaining to play as Jason than I was expecting. Scaring the daylights out of other players is quite rewarding in its own right. But playing as a counselor has its great moments too.

For example, you’ll definitely get that foreboding feeling of being screwed when Jason shows up. Because he’s so much more powerful than you, you really don’t want him to get ahold of you. Whether you’re running or hiding, you need to find a way to escape if Jason starts closing in. And that is sometimes easier said than done.

Getting butchered by Jason is obviously a part of the experience. But sometimes you’ll have some very close calls, escaping from the madman within an inch of your life. And that’s always just so satisfying, even if you don’t know how long that good luck will last.
