8. James Cameron says the movie is his favorite guilty pleasure
If you’re not familiar with film director James Cameron’s name, you certainly know his movies. He is the creative mastermind behind such classics as The Terminator, Terminator 2, Avatar, and Titanic. Cameron will forever go down as one of the most successful filmmakers of all time.
So what movie does this legendary director call his “favorite guilty pleasure” movie to watch? You guessed it, Resident Evil. The director says so himself in an AMA interview on Reddit. He answers the question matter-of-factly, making sure to clarify that he means the first film when he says Resident Evil.
After some of the Redditors began to prod Cameron as to why he likes the movie so much, the director wouldn’t clarify. “I just like that film!” Cameron responds in another post. “You don’t have to defend a guilty pleasure.”
