With ‘Friday the 13th: The Game’ on its way, Gun Media recently explained the reasoning behind the game excluding nudity, a staple of the iconic.
Not so fast Crystal Lake Counselors…there won’t be any nudity in Friday the 13th: The Game!
As reported by Friday the 13th: The Game co-creator Wes Keltner on Twitter, the highly anticipated game will not feature any sexual content or nudity. While the upcoming game promises a movie experience via gameplay, it looks like this Friday the 13th staple will be left out
Here’s what Keltner said after being asked why nudity will be left to the waste side:
"Nudity is in the films, that is for sure. However, it’s used in films to increase the vulnerability of the characters on screen. It’s to help put you, the audience, in their shoes somewhat. But our game picks up after Jason has already arrived and killed someone. The stage has been set."

While the idea never even crossed my mind, I completely understand why Gun Media is leaving out the boobs with the blood. The restrictions ultimately wouldn’t be worth as much as it would have added to the process. On top of that, I love Keltner’s explanation on why nudity exists in horror films. Sure, that’s not the reason the Friday the 13th series contains massive amounts of nudity, but Keltner gives a explanation on how it can be used.
