4. The film ties Danielle Harris with Jamie Lee Curtis
One of the interesting things about this movie is that one of its stars is Danielle Harris. Horror fans already knew her very well as Jamie Lloyd, the little girl in the fourth and fifth Halloween movies. In Rob Zombie’s reboot of the original film, Harris returned to the franchise in a new role, now playing Annie. It’s all an interesting web of connections to the older films.
Harries reprises the role of Annie for Halloween II, giving the actress four total Halloween credits. This ties her with Jamie Lee Curtis when it comes to appearing in movies in the series. Curtis, of course, is in the first two films, and later appears in H20 and Resurrection. A lot of us might prefer to forget her scene in Resurrection, but that doesn’t mean that it didn’t happen, so it counts.
But Harris and Curtis are still below the record holder for appearing in the most Halloween movies. That honor goes to Donald Pleasence, otherwise known as Dr. Loomis. Pleasence stars in the first five films in the series. Chances are, he would have appeared in the sixth or more as well, if he hadn’t sadly passed away.
