The ninth Friday the 13th movie certainly has its detractors but has also gained a cult following over the years; here are 10 facts about the film.

After taking Jason to the streets of New York, the Friday the 13th series needed to place for Jason to go. That place ended up being Hell, as seen in Part 9. However you feel about the movie, let’s go through 10 things you may not know about Jason Goes to Hell, starting with…

10. Freddy and Jason are both portrayed by Kane Hodder

Fans of the Friday the 13th series are well aware of Kane Hodder. Having played Jason for four straight films, he’s definitely the most well known Jason Voorhees actor. But apart from becoming synonymous with the legendary Jason, Hodder also has technically played another iconic slasher. Weirder yet? It’s in this same movie!

At the end of the film, Freddy Krueger’s iconic glove comes out of the dirt. It grabs Jason’s mask and pulls it under, hinting that Freddy has drug Jason straight down into Hell. The moment is setting up Freddy vs. Jason, although it would take 10 years for it to actually be made.

What’s interesting is that not everyone realizes whose hand is in the glove. It’s not Robert Englund’s. The hand is none other than Kane Hodder’s, who also plays Jason in the movie.
