5. Ginny was originally scripted to return and play a major role

Amy Steel’s performance as Ginny in Part 2 cemented her as a fan favorite amongst Friday the 13th and horror fans alike, so it’s not that big of a surprise that she was initially meant to face off against Jason once more in Part 3.

The original Part 3 script featured the character of Ginny, still recovering from her ordeal in Part 2, receiving treatment in a psychiatric hospital. The return was short lived however, as Steel decided that she wanted to pursue other projects, a decision she has since admitted that she regrets.
