Bring Me to Life

Dougie/Coop is sitting at the kitchen table eating a piece of chocolate cake. Janey-E (Naomi Watts) is telling him that all their dreams are coming true. She kisses him and then leaves the room.

Absentmindedly Dougie/Coop echoes her phrase, “true.” While he is eating, he is pushing buttons on the remote control on the table. Nothing is happening but then the television comes alive. Dougie/Coop starts watching a black and white movie.

Something triggers him when he focuses on a particular actor’s face. He freeze frames the photo. A look of revelation creeps across his visage. Staring at the light socket, Dougie/Coop starts crawling toward it. Once he is there, he attempts to jam his fork in it. When that doesn’t elicit a result, he turns the handle sideways and sticks it in.

An explosion of electricity goes through him. I believe Dougie/Coop realizes who he is and that electricity might be the way to “purge” his old identity to get back to who he really is which is Agent Dale Cooper.

Heart Wrenching Tribute

The Log Lady (Catherine E. Coulson) calls Deputy Hawk (Michael Horse) at the station. She tells him she is dying. In the most beautiful and moving words, she says, “You know about death. It’s just a change, not an end.”

In her cryptic fashion, she tells Hawk to “watch for that one. The one under the moon on Blue Pine Mountain.” After that message, the Log Lady bids Hawk a “good night.”

Sheriff Truman (Robert Forster) is in the conference room, Bobby, Andy and Lucy (Kimmy Robertson) file in. Hawk joins them and makes the announcement that the Log Lady has passed away. We see the light go out in her cabin for the last time.

World’s Worst Marriage

Audrey (Sherilyn Fenn) and Charlie (Clark Middleton) are preparing to go to the Roadhouse. They are going back and forth about finding Billy. Charlie wants Audrey to put her coat on. She refuses. This turns into a spat.

She ends up telling him, she likes Billy better and then questions who he is because she doesn’t understand his actions. Fed up, Charlie removes his coat and decides to stay at home. This incenses Audrey who ends up lunging at him and choking him out on the couch.

Roadhouse Part II

A girl is sitting in a booth alone. Two biker thugs come over and dump her on the floor so that they can claim their booth. While music is playing, the girl crawls her way through the dance floor. Opening her mouth, she lets out a blood curdling scream.

Is the crawling mimicking Dougie/Coop crawling toward the light socket? Could it also be that she is echoing fans’ frustrations at not seeing Agent Cooper yet?
