6. The Human Centipede (First Sequence) (2009)
What can I say about The Human Centipede and its shocking nature that hasn’t already been said? The twisted tale that is woven for audiences tells us of a German surgeon who kidnaps three tourists and performs an unthinkable human experiment.
The three tourists are conjoined via being connected mouth to anus, a “human centipede”. Billed as “100% Medically Accurate” by director Tom Six and the outrageous plot I can see where controversy would arise. According to Six, several audience members vomited during festival screenings.
