A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to attend the surprise screening of Adam Green’s latest film, Victor Crowley.
Those in attendance thought we were seeing Hatchet, in honor of its 10th anniversary, only to learn Green had been secretly filming an entirely new sequel for the past two years. It was a surprise rarely seen within the film world and one leaving a lasting impression on all of us in attendance.

If you are asking yourself, should I see Victor Crowley when it comes out? The answer is a resounding YES!
Let me be the first to say I’m not the biggest fan of the Hatchet franchise, although I do have an appreciation for them within the slasher genre. That said, the fourth film in the series absolutely blew my mind and has quickly become one of my favorite horror films of the year.
Without further ado, here are five reasons why everyone needs to see Victor Crowley.
