Some of the stars of the fifth Friday the 13th film will be coming to Ohio for HorrorHound’s Haunted Holidays celebration in November of this year!

“If Jason still haunts you… you’re not alone!

Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning isn’t a favorite for every fan of the franchise — that twist ending rubs some people the wrong way. That’s unfortunate, because as one of my personal favorites, I think it’s criminally underrated. If you ask me, it has some of the very best characters and kills in the entire series.

With that being said, I couldn’t be more excited to announce a Friday the 13th: Part V reunion taking place in Ohio this winter. Some of the film’s stars will be in attendance at HorrorHound’s Haunted Holidays in Columbus, Ohio in November. As a huge fan of the film, I would have traveled pretty far to see this. So living in the Columbus area already makes me feel like the luckiest boy in the world.

From the new issue of HorrorHound Magazine, the confirmed cast members for the Friday the 13th Part V reunion include:

Via Paramount

John Shepherd

John Shepherd plays the lead role in this film as franchise hero Tommy Jarvis. He is one of three actors to perform the iconic role. Shepherd also starred in an episode of Friday the 13th: The Series, and is one of the few actors to have appeared in both the TV series as well as the films.

Deborah Voorhees

Deborah Voorhees stole our hearts in Friday the 13th Part V as troublesome teenager Tina — before a Jason copycat killer took her eyes! Voorhees is now working on her own horror/comedy film called The List, which horror fans can be involved with.

Melanie Kinnaman

As the “final girl” of A New Beginning, Melanie Kinnaman is beloved by F13 fans for her role as Pam Roberts. With the help of Tommy Jarvis and Reggie the Reckless, Pam helps with the efforts to defeat Jason Voorhees… and discover it to be someone else.

Tom Morga

Like Ted White before him and C.J. Graham coming next, Tom Morga had his hand at playing Jason in the fifth F13 film. Of course, the twist ending reveals that this is actually Jason copycat killer Roy Burns. But ol’ Roy was no doubt just as brutal with some of the very best kills in the series.

John Hock

In the opening scene of the film, Corey Feldman reprises his role as Tommy Jarvis, watching Jason murder two men in a flashback nightmare sequence. This is one of the few moments in the film when the “real” Jason is shown — and it’s stuntman John Hock under the mask. Hock also subbed for Morga for two key shots near the end; when Roy first opens the door to the barn, and when he falls to his death from the window.

These are the names confirmed (thus far) for the Part V reunion. Stay tuned for additional guest announcements. The event takes place on Nov. 3 – 5, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio at Crowne Plaza Columbus North.
