As the next Halloween shapes up for greatness, franchise favorite Danielle Harris is opening up about what she wants out of the return film.

Everyone has an opinion on the next Halloween — even franchise icons!

Bloody-Disgusting’s reporting Jamie Lloyd knows how to fix the Halloween franchise. With director David Gordon Green’s reboot/alternate-timeline sequel coming next fall, Danielle Harris is opening up about what she wants to see in the anticipated film. As Harris currently isn’t set to appear, she seemingly just wants to see a quality horror flick set in Haddonfield again.

Here’s what the actress is saying about the return of her old nemesis, Michael Myers, in an interview with Daily Dead:

"“I’ll absolutely go to the theater and see it for sure. I’m a fan first and foremost,” I am looking forward to them bringing it back to the way I think it needed to be. It kind of took a pretty intense hard left I would say, so I am looking forward to seeing it. I’m hoping that it goes back to the old school with Carpenter involved. I’m assuming that that’s going to be where they go with it. I always believe less is more, so maybe it’ll get a chance to do that and I really would love to see Michael back and in his original mask and see Jamie Lee [Curtis] back up there.”"

Harris, who has one of the most iconic faces in the beloved franchise, goes on to say:

"“I mean, I am bummed that I’m not a part of something that could be super cool, especially if it’s the last one—that’s just so sad that it’s done—but I’ve done four movies. I’m more than happy with what I had from that franchise so far. Maybe one day I’ll meet Jamie Lee [Curtis], we’ll see, but I definitely 100% will be at the theater checking it out.”"

More from Halloween

Well, I can’t say I disagree with the horror legend…

While Harris isn’t returning to Haddonfield (so far), it’s stellar to see her continually supporting the franchise. With no contractual reason to comment, this is coming straight from the 40-year-old’s heart. And any Halloween fan worth their weight in Rabbit in Red lounge matches will tell you, these suggestions are perfection.
