Jason’s nemesis Tommy Jarvis is gone from the series after Jason Lives , introducing a new foe for him in The New Blood. Of course, that would be Lar Park Lincoln’s Tina, a teenage girl with apparent psychic powers. Though she has yet to learn how to control them, they’ll come in handy in the fight against Jason when he targets her and her friends.

Fans of the film ought to be satisfied with the poster. It gives Tina just as much of the spotlight as Jason, hinting at a good fight between the two. It’s a precursor to when Jason would eventually take on another nemesis in Freddy Krueger. But we’ll get to that soon enough…
