Without a doubt, horror fans absolutely love A Nightmare on Elm Street and all things Freddy Krueger. Written and directed by the legendary Wes Craven, you can’t go wrong with the original Freddy film. There’s a reason this sleeper hit  (ha!) would spawn one of the most popular franchises in pop culture history. It’s practically a perfect horror film, having its unique and compelling story brought to life through amazing performances from its stars. For many Freddy fans, this original flick will always be a solid favorite.

Just as incredible as the film itself is its official official poster. The haunting image of Nancy wide awake in bed as Freddy’s ghoul lurks over here easily catches one’s attention. There’s so much to love about this poster as even the tagline is fantastic. Across the world, many horror movie fans proudly have this one displayed on their walls.
