The Ranger trailer will keep you away from national parks [SXSW]

Ahead of the film’s world premiere at SXSW in Austin, an all new trailer for The Ranger has been released, and Smokey the Bear isn’t going to like it.
Forest fires aren’t the thing to worry about in The Ranger!
The South by Southwest film festival is currently going strong in Austin, Texas. The horror genre is seeing some quality films premiering for the first time at the event. This includes Jenn Wexler’s movie The Ranger, which will be premiering on Monday, March 12 at 11:55 p.m. at the Alamo Ritz 1.
With the world premiere looming, an official trailer for The Ranger has made its way online via The Hollywood Reporter. You can watch the teaser trailer below, and I recommend viewing it in fullscreen for the best results.
In the film, a group of teens on the run from the law wind up hiding out in a local national park. Unfortunately, the park ranger is a complete madman, taking the law into his own hands to go after them. Oh, and it doesn’t help that the teens are apparently wired on a new hallucinogenic drug called Echo…

I encourage all horror fans at SXSW to check this one out. No word yet on when it will be available following the festival, but we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled.
