Evil Dead: Hail to the King (Sega Dreamcast, PS2, PC)

In the year 2000, Bruce Campbell made Evil Dead fans very happy by once again reprising the role of Ash Williams. Campbell provided the voice of the character in the video game Evil Dead: Hail to the King, which was the closest thing to getting another sequel. Slaughtering Deadites as the almighty Ash was just as fun as it sounds, and the game quickly achieved a cult following.

Serving as a direct Army of Darkness sequelthe plot of the game is set eight years after Sam Raimi’s film trilogy. Now working at S-Mart, Ash is haunted by nightmares of Deadites and the Necronomicon, concerning his new girlfriend Jenny. To help Ash face his fears, Jenny takes him back to the infamous cabin — where Ash’s severed hand again unleashes the deadly evil forces from the book of the dead. After the Deadites kidnap Jenny, Ash must embark on a blood-spraying journey to find her.
