After Regeneration, Ash wouldn’t show up in video games again until 2011, this time on mobile devices. The tower defense game Army of Darkness: Defense put a new spin on the Evil Dead games, and was the first to actually take place in the Army of Darkness universe.
As Ash (of course), players took on endless waves of enemies to protect the Necronomicon in the castle behind him. It wasn’t unlike your typical castle defense game, but the Evil Dead license made the fun title that much better.
Unfortunately, Backflip Studios is shutting down support for the game as of May 2018. Hopefully those playing the game enjoyed it while it lasted.
